ELECTRICITY AND WATER

• Use LED light bulbs and fixtures that use up to 75% less energy and last up to 10x longer than incandescents.

• Use energy-efficient appliances and electronics.

• Turn off transformers together with equipment when not in use (switch off at outlet or unplug). The heat that transformers produce when they are on, even when you’re not using your equipment, is wasted electricity for which you are paying.
