Grenada Electricity Services Ltd. (GRENLEC) is pleased to announce the signing of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Company and the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union.
The Agreement, signed on 2 February, covers the period 1 January, 2012 to 31 December, 2017.

Among the many provisions governing employer and employee responsibilities, the Agreement includes a 12 percent salary increase for employees spread over the 6-year duration of the contract comprisinga 2.5 percent increase for each of the first four (4) years and one (1) percent each in the final two years.
Mr. Cover expressed appreciation to GRENLEC’s employees, shop stewards and GTAWU for their part in finalising the Agreement after the lengthy process. “We look forward to continuing to build a productive and collaborative relationship with all our employees, the Union and other stakeholders, as we continually strive to meet the requirements of our business together.”
