Grenada Electricity Services Ltd. (Grenlec) regrets to inform our valued customers that some of our services, including those offered at our Customer Care Centres, may experience delays due to ongoing industrial action by members of our staff represented by the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union (GTAWU). As a result of this action, which commenced on Monday, 9 September, our Grenville Customer Care Centre will remain closed throughout the day on Tuesday, 10 September 2024.

We encourage customers to use Bill Express at Western Union as well as online banking for payments, and our Grenlec Mobile App for billing information and fault reports.

The impasse relates to the employment status of two individuals, who had a temporary contractual relationship with the Company. We are actively engaged in discussions to resolve the matter and minimise any inconvenience to our customers.

Grenlec sincerely apologises for any disruption this may cause and appreciates your understanding as we work towards a swift resolution.
