Grenlec is sending a talented team of line workers to compete at the highly anticipated CARILEC Lineworkers Rodeo, Symposium, and Field Safety Training from April 25 to 27, 2025, in the British Virgin Islands.

The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) event brings utility crews from across the region together for a combination of skill-building, knowledge exchange, and hands-on learning. The focus is on technical expertise as well as enhancing safety.

This year’s theme is Informed. Empowered. Safe. and reflects the fast pace of change in our industry.

“We’re incredibly proud of our team,” said Paul Bennett, Transmission and Distribution Training Supervisor. “This event is about more than competing – it’s about learning and growing. We’re ready to take on the challenge!”

Along with competing in the Rodeo – a series of challenges that push participants to demonstrate their practical skills – our team will attend expert-led workshops and discussions. These sessions will cover everything from cutting-edge safety techniques to the latest industry innovations.

This is an exciting platform for the CARILEC teams to showcase the skills, experience and teamwork that keep us all powered up.

Additionally, it provides an opportunity for the Grenlec team to improve their performance and contribute to the Company’s ongoing focus on excellence and safety.
