Grenlec wishes to inform its valued customers that all Customer Care Centres will remain closed today as we continue to assess the impact of the recent hurricane on our teams and infrastructure and focus on service restoration efforts. We will reopen our Customer Care Centres at Grenville, Bruce Street and Grand Anse on 3 July 2024.

We assure our customers that we are prioritising safe service restoration and are actively moving to assess the situation in Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
Our teams are still assessing the extent of the damage, so we are unable to provide a specific restoration schedule for mainland Grenda at this time. As a matter of urgency, our team is focusing on restoring electricity to the Mirabeau area to supply the Princess Alice Hospital and other commercial centres and emergency facilities.

Please bear in mind that in areas such as Grand Etang, where there are challenges with access or damaged infrastructure, restoration may be delayed.
To support our restoration activities, we kindly remind customers to report any outages, damaged or fallen poles and lines through the Grenlec Mobile App or by calling our 24-hour fault line at 237. Please note that the mobile app is the most efficient method of communication as our call volume is high and you may experience delays when you call us.

For your safety and to avoid contributing to delays in the restoration process, please do not move, tamper with, or attempt to repair any damaged Grenlec assets.
Additionally, if your property has sustained damage during the hurricane, it is crucial to have a licensed electrician perform an assessment before turning your electricity back on.

As we work together as a nation to recover from this event, we extend our best wishes to all families, businesses, and communities and stand ready to assist you.

For further updates, please stay tuned to our official communication channels and the media for updates on restoration efforts.
