Following the inclement weather conditions, Grenlec crews are working to restore service to just under 330 customers who are without electricity.

On the morning of 29 June, the priority is to restore electricity service to customers in Upper Mirabeau/Bylands and De Blando/Plaisance in St. Andrew.

The Company is grateful to the team members who remained on shift during the evening and night to maintain electricity service. Despite the poor weather conditions, the team also worked in the field, responding to customer calls throughout the night to minimise disruptions.

Grenlec also thanks affected customers for their patience and the timely reporting that allows the team to restore electricity in the shortest possible time.

Mindful of the potential for further interruptions as rain and poor weather conditions persist, Grenlec crews will continue to respond urgently based on the type of facility affected and the number of customers impacted.

Grenlec reminds customers to stay safe and to report faults through the Grenlec Mobile App or by calling 237.
