Grenlec Passes the GCPI Baton to CARIFTA 2016

With only two months left until Grenada hosts CARIFTA 2016, Grenlec is pleased to be passing the Grenlec Community Partnership baton to the local organizing committee in Grenada.

Under the Grenlec Community Partnership Initiative, the company partnered with the organizers of CARIFTA by providing $50,000XCD towards the hosting of the event.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony, Ms. Veda Bruno-Victor, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee said Grenlec was the first to provide support to the regional event and she appreciated the continuous support.

“CARIFTA remains the first large stage for all athletes to showcase their talent” said Grenlec’s General Manager and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Collin Cover. He continued by saying, “We’re really proud to be associated with this premier event. ”

CARIFTA 2016 will take place from March 25^th to 28^th.
