Grenlec and Aris Wind Join Force to test Solar-Wind Lighting Technology

Wednesday, 17 February 2016:  Grenlec continues to explore renewable energy options for a range of applications, the Company is supporting Aris Wind in testing the effectiveness of its products under typical Caribbean conditions.  As a first step, Grenlec has collaborated with the US-based company to install one of their Remote Power Units (RPU) at the Sugar Mill Roundabout.

Grenlec is 100% committed to exploring and developing more renewable energy resources in Grenada for the benefit of our nation and environment. The goal of our Renewable Energy Strategic Plan aligns with Grenada’s National Energy Policy (2011) to secure 20% renewable energy generation by 2020.
